Msinfo32 Categories
For the convenience of the user, Msinfo32 groups the technical information into three categories. Each category has several subcategories and even sub-subcategories. There is also a tab “System Summary” that gives an overview of the computer.
Visit the desired category to see its list of subcategories:
- Components
The Components category contains information about CD-ROM, Display, Infrared, Input, Modem, Multimedia, Network, Ports, Printing, Problem Devices, Sound Device, Storage, and USB
- Hardware Resources
The Hardware Resources category displays information about Conflicts/Sharing, DMA, Forced Hardware, I/O, IRQs, and Memory
- Software Environment
The Software Environment category contains information about your system configuration
- System Summary
The System Summary category displays general information about your computer and its operating system
